On 28th of April 2021, we organized and held a Debate Cinema Night, a bilateral activity between North Macedonia and Greece. The volunteers of the Cooperation for Common Future initiative initiated the event that aroused great interest in the young participants from both sides of the border. The film, directed by Ljubo Stefanov and Tamara Kotevska, captures the transformation of the relationship with the environment, which restores the vital functions of the ecosystem of Lake Prespa – one of the oldest freshwater ecosystems on Earth, home to more than 2,000 species of plants and animals, many of which are endemic. The film was made with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and is the story of the success of a fifteen-year project to protect Lake Prespa, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, UNDP. , the municipality of Resen and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
